SecureMag is a 1" rubber coated magnet that secures the MagBase strip in a stable position. You may want to purchase an additional SecureMag to have as a spare or to replace a missing SecureMag. It can be used to boost the magnetic field needed for thicker sweaters or jackets with shoulder padding. The SecureMag weighs 0.3 oz.
